Fighting for Nuclear Jobs in Caithness

David Green, Lib Dem candidate for Caithness, Sutherland and

Ross, and Jamie Stone MP have written to the SNP Energy

Secretary to urge her to “think again” on nuclear energy.

David Green said: “There can be no shying away from the climate

crisis. It is essential the SNP delivers on our net-zero obligations.

Imagine what it could mean for the Far North? The debate has

moved forward, the SNP need to catch up or move out of the way.”

Struan Mackie, local Cllr for Thurso and North West Caithness said:

“We have the skills, experience and community support for new

nuclear, we need to return pro-nuclear MSPs like David Green to

Holyrood to ensure that our voice is heard”
