Caithness Bus Action Group lead Cllr Struan Mackie is cautious when asked about Stagecoach North Highland's new look timetable for the Far North.
"I welcome much of the new timetable which shows the Stagecoach are finally listening to passenger across the Far North, particularly regarding connecting services to Inverness's Raigmore Hospital."
"Although I am delighted that passengers will now experience a connection-less service from Caithness to the NHS Highland facility I am concerned by the reduction in service to upper Scrabster, the Thurso Circular and a temporary reprive on the Gills Service."
"I will continue to push for local service provision and I will meet with HITRANS and Stagecoach in the coming weeks to discuss further options."
