Thurso and Northwest Councillor accepts position on key Caithness stakeholder group
Councillor Struan Mackie stated the importance of the role of Councillors on the DSG and that he was looking forward to taking a full and active role. "Everybody knows how important Dounreay is to the Far North economy and the legacy of opportunity that the site has given generations of Caithnessians. I am delighted that my fellow Councillors have supported my nomination onto the DSG as one of the Highland Council representatives and I am looking forward to attending the full and sub group meetings which will begin later this month."
